Chris Woollams gave his annual UK speech entitled, ‘Cancer is Reversible – Increasing your personal odds of cancer survival’ on Sunday October 20th at the Hilton Bracknell. It was a complete sell out – morning and afternoon, with all but 27 tickets going in the first 3 hours.
This has become an annual event; a one-off from the man who ‘put integrative oncology on the map in the UK‘, according to one UK doctor.
In 2019 he moved the speech on, covering all the latest developments, research and ideas that you can incorporate into your personal cancer-fighting programme RIGHT NOW. And, judging by the response, people loved the day. One oncologist who heard Chris called him, “Very informative and sound”.
Chris covered the interface between chronic illness, the gut microbiome and diet, naming the diet a panel of Professors had just voted the ‘healthiest overall diet’, and also ‘the best plant-based diet’ after reviewing more than 40 diets. He talked about other hot topics such as fasting, repurposed off-label drugs and cannabis in cancer. The second half was a ‘Speed Cancer’ session – Chris spent a fast and furious 5 minutes on each of 12 cancers!
